    The perfect support for your mixing processes

    Properties:
    • Driven using standard magnetic stirrers

    • Variable stirrer shaft, can be used for DURAN® GL 45 laboratory bottles

    • Can be used up to 500 rpm

    • Entirely autoclavable

    • Temperature resistant up to 140 °C

    • Compatible with proven DURAN® connection systems; can fit tubing from 1.6 mm to 6.0 mm i.d.

    • Significantly improved, thorough mixing compared to standard magnetic stirring bar

    • Materials used PP/PTFE/PEEK/stainless steel

    • Parts in contact with media fully conform to FDA requirements


    Application:
    The above-mentioned properties make the DURAN® stirred reactor ideal for the widest possible range of mixing processes in laboratories, e.g. mixing liquids or dissolving solids. The connections available allow introduction of media into the bottle or removal during mixing.
    The whole assembly is autoclavable, so that it can be used in biological applications, for example simple fermentation processes. With the aid of components from the DURAN® connection system extra media bottles can be attached, or a sterile pressure release fitted.
